$SPY My dream scenario is close to playing out. Today we got the move to 748-750 and it rejected to create a potential double top. I want to see a move down to the 20 dma currently at 731, or lower 725-718-713. If we get the sell I’ll BUY it, as long as the supports mentioned above are holding. If they hold I’m expecting price to move back up and consolidate to create an inverse head and shoulders that will send SPY above 750. (Check the post below for the drawings). Normally I would have taken a puts swing after today’s rejection but the holiday weekend will force me to go into the weekend all in cash. Markets more often than not gap up into and right after holiday weekends regardless of technicals and fundamentals. Theta decay will take a toll too if we open flat. I’m hoping for a gap up again into resistance on Tuesday to short or a flat open to open a starter put position. If we open with a gap down it’ll be a missed opportunity but there will be many other opportunities that follow, so it’s okay. Remember, it’s better to miss out on money than lose money you already have. There are always opportunities in the stock market. Enjoy your weekends my friends ✌️
