Today, we are announcing our biggest partnership to date: Zama will be the official confidentiality protocol for the @trex_network, a leading RWA protocol with over $100b of tokenized assets already committed by Apex Group. I don't think people realize how massive RWAs are for blockchain. If you think stablecoins are huge, then RWAs are twice as big. This is THE big opportunity for blockchain to become the rails of global finance. The issue however is that portfolio managers can't make their positions and strategies public. If they did, every trader on the planet would front-run them, making them lose billions as a consequence. Just ask any VC or whale how they feel being called out on social media when they move assets to an exchange. And now imagine someone managing 1000x more money. To put it simply: without privacy, finance won't move onchain. The old way of solving this problem was to use private chains, at the cost of sacrificing public verifiability and composability. Private chains are like the Intranets of the 90s: closed, siloed systems that simply dont work well together. Public blockchains on the other hand is like the Internet: a global network of publicly accessible applications and services interacting together seamlessly through common standards. And just like HTTPS made financial transactions possible on the Internet, Zama is making financial transactions possible on public blockchains. The future of finance is onchain, and we will encrypt all of it with FHE.

The Evolution of Institutional Privacy. Web3 is a glass house, but that changes today. With @zama surpassing $34M+ TVS and @GSR_io executing the first confidential OTC trades, the demand for institutional-grade privacy is at an all-time high. I initially used the Safe Wallet SDK to build a fully custom confidential multi-sig platform. It proved the concept: users could execute FHE-shielded transfers and decrypt balances privately. x.com/realchriswilde… But the mission was bigger. Instead of a standalone tool, I’ve now officially forked the @safe Wallet monorepo to bring native ERC-7984 and Zama FHE support directly into the core Safe UI. I am the first developer to integrate this standard into the Safe ecosystem. GSR just completed the first confidential OTC trade on Ethereum with Zama. This is a much bigger deal than it sounds. OTC is where institutions execute large trades when they can’t afford to leak intent, move the market, or broadcast positioning. Take any crypto VC: the moment they move tokens to an exchange, they get flagged on social media, people panic, and even before they can execute their trade, the market has already gone down. They are leaving a lot of money on the table, simply because there is no confidentiality on public blockchains. This is exactly the kind of problem Zama solves. It allows you to settle OTC trades on public blockchains, without revealing then size, direction or even the asset, while being fully compliant with AML/KYC regulations. Considering that OTC volumes dwarfs any DEX or CEX volume, this is actually a pretty big TAM for the Zama Protocol.
