Tesla has reportedly submitted plans for a carwash dedicated for Robotaxis in Las Vegas. The permit, filed with Clark County on May 12th, describes "Tesla Center Cybercab Phase 2 Car Wash." According to the project description, the work involves interior and exterior improvements to an existing facility, including the construction of a car wash enclosure, relocation of tire service equipment, and the installation of power raceways. This seems to suggest that Tesla is building a full-service maintenance hub specifically designed to handle the unique needs of an autonomous fleet. via @NotATeslaApp/@MarcoRPi1: notateslaapp.com/news/4143/tesl…

@rhensing I have flown a ton and have rarely had any issues. My point is internet speeds is absolutely not going to be a game changer for airlines that have starlink. It just isn't. @ChuckCook laid out a similar opinion to mine that I fully agree with.

@CurlingCrypto Not overreacting at all I just took Alaska air and paid for their crappy Internet and it would cut out every 15 or 20 minutes for 5 to 10 minutes at a time

I’ve had my Cybertruck for 2 and a half years now, and the battery is still looking great. 120 kWh out of 125 kWh originally. These 4680 packs have great longevity!

After 5 months with Tesla insurance, I just switched over to Progressive Before $280~$320/month, Now $150/month Better coverage and saving a lot more I should have done this sooner Bye bye Tesla insurance But I still have separate Tesla windshield insurance and tire/wheel insurance. I am debating if these are worth it to continue. Do any of you know if I can stop and start again?

Where does Tesla get the AQI data from? My truck says it’s 791, which is “emergency” level air quality. Causes death with long term exposure Whatever that reading is, is NOT accurate.

@rhensing Yep, mostly regressions all around for me. Parking for me is slightly worse than 14.2.2.2.2.2.2

FSD 14.3.2 is a big step backwards (driving) vs 14.2 builds. I’m disengaging more for comfort issues (weird indecisiveness and braking). It’s better than 14.2 in parking lots. Worse everywhere else.

Man what a pain in the ass it is to swap out wall chargers if your old one dies and you have PowerShare. I installed my new HPWC last night and I used Tesla One to remove the old one from the PowerShare Gateway and register the new one with the PowerShare Gateway but that doesn't update the consumer Tesla app you use daily to drive and manage your home setup. The 'My Home' was still pointing to the old wall charger and showed it as 'offline'. Sub-optimal. So I called Tesla support today. I tried to go to the PowerShare team - they have a menu option now!! They were having none of it and send me to some 'installer' support team who had me on speakerphone? They were angry that I was a regular customer using the Tesla One app and scolded me. I explained that I just needed them to do their thing on the backend to remove my old broken wall charger and setup the new one and they transferred me to the home charger team. So the home charger team dude - had me uninstall the Tesla app first thing - which invalidates all phone keys (fun). He had me walk through adding the new HPWC in the consumer Tesla app (just as I tried last night) and it added fine. He thought we were good. Had me force quit the app and restart. Sure enough it showed the home charger as being offline under 'My home' still. Still pointing to the old charger. I told him 'dude I am very confident you have to delete my old home charger from your end'. He asked me for verbal permission to do so. We reconfirmed the old TPN/TSN numbers of the old charger (never lose those papers!) and he nuked it. After waiting a minute I force quit the app again and voila - when I restarted the app it now magically sees my new HPWC and shows the vehicle being plugged in etc. Here's the sucky part. I don't MIND having to tell Tesla what to do and guide their tech support to a solution - but my charger died on a Sunday. It had the handle / thermometer / charge rate limited to 6amps issue which many others have reported having. I bought a new HPWC at Best Buy on a Sunday and installed it myself on Sunday to get back up and running since I charge 4x Teslas at my house and 6amp charging won't cut it. I did this all on the day when the Tesla Charging is *closed*. To do a warranty claim for the 4 year warranty on the old HPWC guess what? They need it to be plugged in and online. So they literally want me to remove the new / working HPWC and plug in the old non-working HPWC so that they can run remote diagnostics and start the warranty claim. And I was like 'don't you have the logs for this? It was online as of yesterday'. He looked and guess what? Since we deleted the thing just a few minutes prior - I think maybe it nuked the logs? He says he showed it never being online. So they aren't doing anything for me even though I bought this $600 wall charger in March of last year. Several things need improving here @teslaenergy 1. I shouldn't have to call to replace my HPWC with a new one that I've installed myself - I should be able manage this via the Consumer app or the Tesla One app since wall chargers seem like a super common failure point (my wife broken the handle on our original so I replaced it in March of last year with a new one which just died yesterday). 2. If you want us to leave broken hardware online so that you can run remote diagnostics to start a warranty claim - then you should be available 24x7 to do so. 3. If the device doesn't TRULY have to be online and you can review historic logs - and removing an HPWC from your account ALSO deletes said logs - then maybe instruct the customer support folks to start a warranty claim of an old device up front BEFORE helping customers setup their new device??

The NHTSA has just officially announced that the 2026 @Tesla Model Y is the first vehicle model to pass the agency’s new advanced driver assistance system tests. 2026 Tesla Model Y vehicles, manufactured on or after Nov. 12, 2025, successfully met the new criteria for four newly integrated advanced safety tests: • Pedestrian automatic emergency braking • Lane keeping assistance • Blind spot warning • Blind spot intervention “Today’s announcement marks a significant step forward in our efforts to provide consumers with the most comprehensive safety ratings ever,” said NHTSA Administrator Jonathan Morrison. “By successfully passing these new tests, the 2026 Tesla Model Y demonstrates the lifesaving potential of driver assistance technologies and sets a high bar for the industry. We hope to see many more manufacturers develop vehicles that can meet these requirements.”
