During #WomensHistoryMonth, we would like to recognize our current longest-serving member. Constable Nancy Baumgart is in her 34th year of policing and has worked in many units, including Traffic, Detectives, Special Victims, & Missing Persons. Nancy, thank you for your service.

Today, at a small ceremony at police headquarters, we were honoured to pause, reflect, and remember the brave officers who lost their lives this year in the line of duty. We also paid tribute to our own Constable David Nicholson #589. #HeroesInLife

Every year, on the last Sunday of September, we come together for the Canadian Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial. It’s a day to reflect and to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, including our own Const. David Nicholson. They are truly #HeroesInLife.
