In 2025, DWTC partnered with the UAE Food Bank to redistribute 34 tonnes of untouched food from events such as Gulfood and Ramadan Majlis to those in need, helping reduce food waste while supporting communities across the UAE.

In the spirit of Ramadan, Dubai World Trade Centre donated 500 Meer Ramadan boxes to the @emiratesrc and Dubai Women’s Association. The boxes were filled with essential food items to support families in need.

Today, we celebrate 47 years of Dubai World Trade Centre. On 26 February 1979, DWTC opened its doors and marked a defining moment in Dubai’s business landscape, creating a platform that would go on to connect industries, ideas and opportunities from around the world.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman & CEO of Emirates Group, Chairman of Dubai Airports, inaugurated MRO Middle East and Aircraft Interiors Middle East today at #DubaiWorldTradeCentre.

Her Excellency Hessa Ahmed Hamdan Al Malek, Executive Director of the Maritime Sector at the Federal Transportation Authority for Land and Maritime, inaugurated @Break_Bulk Middle East 2026 today at #DubaiWorldTradeCentre.

@Gulfood 2026 made history across two venues, doubling capacity and driving impact beyond the show floor. Through a collaboration with the UAE Food Bank and Dubai Municipality, 30+ tonnes of surplus food were recovered across both venues.

As @Gulfood 2026 comes to a close, our Director General, His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, came together with DWTC’s senior leadership and teams across events, real estate, operations, and venues to mark a defining moment for the industry.
