Before thinking about using AI to make an easy buck from music, consider that there are still too many legal grey areas surrounding the technology. Let's say you create a song with AI, "interpolate" it within a DAW, and it goes viral... It's all fun and games until the AI company decides to unilaterally change its ToS (mostly to "calm down" the majors embroiled in legal disputes with them), thereby claiming the copyright for ALL music generated through their platform. Also, consider that using an LLM—particularly one trained on undisclosed datasets that might even be copyrighted—might generate a song that already exists, meaning you might unwittingly plagiarize an artist you don't even know. If you want to use AI, go ahead. But be prepared to face the consequences.

@nthercyte Well, I guess it's how you plan it. Sometimes artists get into their studios and work on several stuff, but of course don't release everything at once, instead they release periodically!

Not sure about myself, but, does it happen sometimes that artists who make music does make music in quantity rather than quality? I usually make music to have some fun, even when I sometimes check the quality of mix and master when I practice myself
