@bosherL is a brave man, standing up for Havertz's inflammatory celebration on a Chelsea podcast. @MattDaviesAdams @SOCobhamPod I'm all for a fair journalistic approach (I'm a hack myself) but you do realise how loyal football fans think and feel don't you?!

@SOCobhamPod listening to the post-analysis on Sky, I don't agree with Redknapp and Merson. I thought Rosenior did ok. We were better side for most of match - away! But thought Estevao and Palmer and Garnacho did nothing when they came on. That's on the players not the manager.

@thameswater There's a serious burst pipe leaking water on Townley Road in Dulwich, outside Allen's School this morning. You may want to fix that rather than imposing a hose pipe ban on residents ? @margynewens

@margynewens The main junction of E Dulwich Grove and D Village has literally had roadworks for the majority of past year. Frankly it's a disgrace. What on earth can council be working on this time?

@Calvbetton Total waste of time for these people. I can guarantee Oasis will release the movie anyway and a million other pieces of same footage on YouTube. It's the definition of what social media are doing to people's brains and mental health. And it doesn't end well..

There are people that waited 15 years for their favourite band to get back together, obsessed over it for 15 years, paid hundreds of pounds to see their first concert … and then spent the entire gig filming it on their phones. Absolutely mental.

@SOCobhamPod You would think Jackson would have learned from the Newcastle experience. You have to question his football brain to do that minutes after coming on. Even if it was an attempted tackle it was ridiculously risky.

@Calvbetton Yeah I know what you mean. Emily Eavis has rightly or wrongly adapted 'to the times' which means a lot less rock music. That said, it means an old rocker like me needs to work harder to seek out the great new bands like Fontaines (I've seen all their 3 glastos) and Wunderhorse.

@dannyrogers2001 Yeah I mean there was a time when the schedule was so packed I was missing sets by bands I liked. The last couple of times I went I found myself wondering around for hours trying to find something half decent. And then theres the influencer crowd…

@Calvbetton I soldier on. Was worth it last year for Fontaines DC and Idles alone. And high hopes for Wunderhorse this year 🤞

@dannyrogers2001 No mate. My days there are done. I was mostly bored the last twice I went. It’s changed a lot.

Although to be honest if that challenge is a penalty the game has pretty much gone. For the past 100 years at any level that's not a foul but a great recovery defensive tackle. Careful what you wish for, all you VAR fan boys. Eh @SimonWEv @KenCowdery ? #InterBarca
Jamie Kent@BigBearKentlaar

That is VAR at its best in the Inter Milan vs Barcelona game. Ref thought it was a good tackle, VAR suggested otherwise and a very quick review at the screen and a penalty is correctly given.

@BigBearKentlaar @SimonWEv @KenCowdery My point is that VAR is destroying football as we knew it. Every decision is a technicality and subject to review. You may want that, sure. Not sure I do...but maybe I'm just old school :-)

@BigBearKentlaar @SimonWEv @KenCowdery Technically yes but you only knew that when you saw the VAR technology. The ref didn't think that at first, Shearer didn't think that, and those of us who have been watching footie for 50 years didn't think that. If you've been a defender trying to make a timed recovery tackle.?

Iga Swiatek has just suffered her first bagel (6-0) defeat in a set on clay since 2019, handed it by Australian Open champion Madison Keys. Only happened at tour level twice, both times at her first ever Roland Garros appearance.
