Three innocent lives were confirmed lost yesterday in Gangare, Barkin Ladi. They were not criminals. They were not armed men looking for war. They were fathers, brothers, sons… human beings keeping watch through the night, trying to protect their community from yet another attack. And now their blood cries out from the ground. What hurts even more is that there was already intelligence about this attack. Warnings existed. Fear had already filled the hearts of the people. Yet once again, death came in the darkness like a daily routine. How did we get to a point where human beings are slaughtered almost every day, and the world barely pauses to speak? How many more graves must be dug before humanity finally opens its eyes? Sometimes one cannot help but ask painful questions: Where do these dangerous weapons and ammunition come from? Who keeps supplying them? Who keeps funding this evil? Who keeps empowering men to destroy villages, murder worshippers, and leave children orphaned simply because of their faith? The silence is painful. The lack of publicity is heartbreaking. It feels as though the suffering of innocent Christians and vulnerable communities is slowly being ignored by the world. The Bible says in Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Today our hearts are crushed. Mothers are crying. Children are traumatized. Families are burying loved ones they prayed with only hours before they were killed. But even in the middle of this darkness, we refuse to surrender our faith. Romans 8:35 says: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” No sword will silence the Body of Christ. No terror will stop believers from praying. No amount of persecution will destroy our hope in God. We may cry, but we will not be silent. We may mourn, but we will not stop speaking up. We may be wounded, but we will continue standing for truth and righteousness. We pray for the families of those who were killed in Gangare. May God comfort every grieving heart. May He strengthen every widow and protect every child left behind. May the Lord expose every hidden work of darkness and bring justice upon those responsible for this bloodshed. Father in Heaven, We lift up the people of Barkin Ladi before You. Stretch forth Your mighty hand and protect innocent communities from further attacks. Give courage to those living in fear. Heal the wounded. Comfort the brokenhearted. And let Your light shine in every place where darkness has tried to reign. Lord, we will not give up. We will keep praying. We will keep speaking up. We will keep standing for the Body of Christ until justice, peace, and mercy prevail. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

When this news first broke out, it was a Shari'a compliant Muslim community in Kano that amputated this boys hands for stealing. Recycling same news to brand it as Christians doing it is peak stupid!ty. That useless @Abdul_Ahmad_ is even talking too. Christians don't amputate!!!
Sister__@ana_herleemerh

This Fulani boy hands were cut after he was tortured by some Christians terrorists in the North. His only crime is that he is Fulani. Why has our society become so inhumane, and how could anyone inflict such cruelty upon a child? Allah ya zama gatan musulmai, ya daukaka musulunci da musulmai a fadin duniya.

Nigeria Senate hasn’t reacted to this Barr. Mike Igini revelation. Article 63, 137 & 138 of the 2026 electoral act is a rigging weapon. Remember that Amupitan Must Go. Amupitan cannot be trusted.

Dear @channelstv @ARISEtv @tvcnewsng @NTANewsNow, please when next you go for a media briefing with FCT Minister @GovWike, kindly ask him about the following: 1. Cows taking over roads, now including highways, in Abuja 2. Waste collection and mountains of refuse in various parts of town 3. Swarms of young children, who should be in school, begging at traffic lights and junctions under the supervision of adults sitting under nearby trees. 4. The pandemic of driving “one-way” against traffic. 5. Aggressive street traders, especially the ones selling windscreen wiper blades, who insist on putting their hands on your windscreen. 6. All commercial vehicles, including Keke, that believe that traffic lights don’t apply to them. Others may have other things to add but it would be good to get answers to these first. Thank you.

Terrible escalation in Plateau State, Nigeria, where multiple Christian communities are under siege by Fulani militias. Reports indicate that military forces withdrew as attacks began, leaving civilians exposed. The international community can no longer look away. truthnigeria.com/2026/05/multip…

"Some men change their party for the sake of their principles; others change their principles for the sake of their party." Winston Churchill Today, May 9th, I attended the 1st convention of my latest party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abuja, Nigeria. The convention was successful and continued to show the resilience of Nigerians to change I express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the NDC family, led by the distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for inviting us and for the generosity of spirit with which they have accommodated us at this critical moment in our national journey. I also wish to express profound gratitude to the African Democratic Congress(ADC), particularly Distinguished Senator David Mark, for providing a democratic platform and showing uncommon understanding when the ongoing litigation forced us out of the Labour Party and the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP respectively. That spirit of solidarity must remain the foundation upon which a better Nigeria will be built. Today, the most painful aspect of our political existence is that many who once benefited from democratic governance have now become willing accessories to the destruction of democracy itself. Those who once fought for justice now openly celebrate electoral injustice. Those who once spoke against impunity now defend coercion, manipulation, intimidation, and outright political gangsterism, especially against opposition voices. What we are witnessing is not politics; it is a systematic assault on democracy and the will of the people. Nigeria today stands at a dangerous crossroads. Our democracy is under severe threat. Our nation is drifting without direction, and our people are passing through immense suffering. Across the world, Nigeria is increasingly described as a failing and disgraced nation. This is not the destiny God ordained for our great country. It was not always so, and it must never be allowed to remain so. Across virtually every recognised indicator of good governance - accountability, political stability, rule of law, control of corruption, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, and the separation of powers - Nigeria continues to record alarming failures. The institutions that should protect the people are weakening daily, while the burden on ordinary citizens grows heavier with each passing moment. Today, over 140 million Nigerians live in multidimensional poverty. Tens of millions of young people remain unemployed or underemployed. Inflation continues to crush families. Businesses are shutting down. Farmers can no longer safely access their farms. Communities live in fear. In this month alone, hundreds of innocent Nigerians have lost their lives to insecurity, while many others have been kidnapped, displaced, or thrown deeper into poverty. The most heartbreaking question confronting us is this: Who consoles the grieving mother whose child was abducted on the way to school? Who speaks for the father who can no longer feed his family despite working every day? Who defends the young Nigerian whose dreams have been destroyed by a nation that rewards connections over competence and corruption over character? Our present tragedy is not accidental. It is the direct consequence of years of deliberate sabotage by a political class that prospers by dividing the people and weakening the nation. Nigeria is not a poor country; rather, we are being looted into poverty. We have abundant human and natural resources, yet we remain trapped in deprivation because leadership has failed to place the common good above personal interest. Our choice as a people is therefore clear: whether to surrender to despair and national decline, or to summon the courage to rescue our country and rebuild it on the foundations of unity, equity, justice, competence, and productivity.

Fulani militants have been killing indigenes mostly rural dwellers in Plateau state, no single arrest and persecution. Then the youths in an effort to defend themselves and their communities devise/improvise local arms. Nigeria Army decided to score cheap points with them as the scapegoat. Bandits in far north are publicly carrying arms. You guys had meetings with them to negotiate peace. Devils !

TROOPS OF OPERATION ENDURING PEACE BUST ILLEGAL ARMS MANUFACTURING FACTORIES, ARREST SUSPECTS AND RECOVER CACHE OF ARMS IN PLATEAU STATE Troops of Quick Response Force (QRF), Operation ENDURING PEACE on Thursday, 7 May 2026, successfully busted 2 illegal arms manufacturing factories in Vom, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. The well coordinated raid operation was part of the ongoing efforts by Operation ENDURING PEACE aimed at cutting off the supply chain of illicit firearms and safe guarding of law abiding citizens within its Joint Operations Area (JOA). The operation which was the result of a highly intensified, comprehensive human intelligence gathering and strategic surveillance led to the discovery of 2 illegal arms manufacturing sites. During the precision operation, troops arrested 5 suspects caught in the act of fabricating lethal weapons. A comprehensive search of the sites led to recovery of significant cache of weaponry and industrial equipment. Items recovered include, 9 fabricated AK 47 rifles, one locally fabricated pistol, 4 empty AK 47 magazines, 7 skeletal AK 47 rifles and 10 rifle butts. Other items recovered are 36 empty shells of 7.62mm special, 4 revolver engines, 14 recoiling springs, 6 hand drilling machines, 9 filing machines, 4 welding machines and assorted industrial equipment. Suspects and recovered items are currently in custody for further exploitation and detailed investigation. While troops are currently consolidating the ongoing covert operation in order to mop-up the remnants of arms and ammunition already in circulation, Operation ENDURING PEACE appreciates the support of the citizenry and urged them to be more vigilant and report suspicious activities of criminal elements to security agencies.
