Something got to me recently.
Someone in my circle who just entered Web3 a few weeks ago… and hit my DMs saying he just landed a CM role.(well paid ngl😅)
I was shocked.
So I asked him, “Do you even have experience? Do you really know what it takes?”
Well, In Web3 jobbing, 12 hours of hard grinding isn’t always everything. 🫵
The truth is you need to work smart. Smarter than the smart ones.
Everyone wants to be a Community Manager or Builder, but only a few actually understand the workload and pressure behind it, especially when you’ve got weekly KPIs staring at you.
I’m not the type to flex wins. I’ve had better and bigger ones with my little knowledge.
But it felt good bagging two projects in a day.
Didn’t even pitch much one came from a referral, we talked for a few minutes, and boom… it was done.
But here’s the real takeaway:
If I hadn’t delivered on the last project , that referral wouldn’t have happened.
I’ll speak more on that another time, but for now…
Nothing loud, just honest works.
