Alberta is reportedly set to hold an October referendum on whether to begin the process toward a future separation vote from Canada.

If you want help establishing this and doing it, I am happy to go for a coffee/do a house meeting with anyone. I am committed to giving anyone who wants it all the knowlege I have on this topic. If I have to do it one person at a time, so be it.

The key is to create nodes of organization across the province that are all working towards the same goal but are independent of each other in function. If we rely on direction from one group, then it will collapse under the weight of the attacks. We are seeing this everywhere.

@unacceptfringe It's the realization dawning on so many how hard this is going to be. How much they will use every tool in their tool box to stop us, and that it will cost a lot more than a vote, or sitting on the side of the road, or going to events. It will take immense sacrifice.

I know what you’re feeling right now. Last night hit hard. The referendum question didn’t land like the thunderclap we hoped for. Some of you are sitting in the dark, staring at the screen, thinking it’s over. That the dream of a free Alberta, a sovereign Alberta, died in committee rooms and careful wording. I see the doubt. I feel the weight of it. But, this is not the end. They want you to believe the fight is finished because one question, one moment, didn’t deliver everything. They want you exhausted. They want you divided. They want you to fold your flags and go home. But we all know we are not those people. We are Albertans. We are the ones who built this province into an economic giant while Ottawa treated us like an ATM to be drained. Every single one of you who feels defeated right now, you are the reason we still have a chance. This isn’t about one referendum. This is about a generation deciding whether we will kneel forever or stand on our own feet. They didn’t kill the movement last night. They only tested us. And the true test of any people isn’t whether they win on the first try. It’s whether they have the courage to get back up when the first blow lands and say “We are not done”. You are the key. Not the politicians. Not the next poll. Not some perfect future leader. YOU. The truckers, the farmers, the oilfield workers, the small business owners, the mothers and fathers teaching their kids what freedom really means. The quiet ones who show up at rallies, who share the truth online, who refuse to bend even when it costs them friends and comfort. We don’t get do-overs in history. There are no second chances to save what matters. This is our moment, and it’s the only one we’re guaranteed. No mistakes. No half-measures. No waiting for someone else to carry the load. So stand up. Dust it off. Reach out to the friend who’s discouraged. Talk to your neighbor. Build the networks. Strengthen the organizations. Speak truth louder than they speak the lies. Prepare like our children’s future depends on it, because it does. We will fight smarter. We will fight harder. We fight together and we will win. Whatever it takes.

I remember when everyone said that Elon would never succeed at creating self driving cars. Now everyone just knows he made them, and people act like no one ever doubted him.

OK I don’t like this referendum for a referendum nonsense, and I no longer trust or support Smith. But this is the hand we were dealt. We have to win this vote no matter what. We cannot afford distractions like trying to oust Smith. If we lose the vote in October, it’s done, it’s over, and we won’t get another opportunity for likely a generation. So let’s win this!

Is Alberta excited about the separation referendum?

The Federalists are not acting like there is no chance of victory of Independence. They are throwing all of their resources at it hoping to crush all hope quickly. After the first experience of shock. The Movement will respond, and it will be truly legendary.

I was naive. I've had time to think, and anyone remotely interested in Independence is going to want to read this. I finally realized... there hasn't been a swing from the other side the entire time Independence has been on the line. I wondered why they sat there, defenceless... allowing us to rally support and grow in numbers. They created concrete legitimacy for us, and solidified the argument for independence. But they never fought back. That's because they don't fight like we fight. We fight with logic, morality, and pragmatism. They fight with overwhelming resources, a corrupt system, and judicial abuse. This was their swing, and I wasn't expecting it to come from Danielle Smith. I was naive. Now that they've finally swung when we thought the bell rang and the fight was over... they're doubling down in a variety of ways. 1) They hope the bogus ruling against StayFreeAlberta withstands the appeal- I'm sure this is already rigged 2) They've enabled Danielle Smith pull the rug on the people that supported her- we were stunned by this. 3) The future of the referendum in Alberta now has only obstacles and question marks. It will definitely hurt support. 4) They've coordinated. Everyone posting the picture I've attached here is in on it. They want to look legitimate, humble, Canadian... it's real branding and done on purpose. These 4 things appeared over night, and I didn't realize they were able to precipitate with such expediency. This is their right-hook. Welcome to the big leagues. But guess what... this just means we understand they finally decided to fight- don't let it mean the fight is over. For the record, for this level of coordination to appear at this speed likely means one thing: Smith communicated (or her plan was leaked) to the Federalists long before her announcement. You guys like elbows up? Alright then. Let's dance. Independence gets the next move.
