Does anyone use Starlink as their internet provider? I was thinking about switching but wondered about reliability. Thanks

In the few times I’ve been somewhere that service hasn’t worked well enough for messaging.. the starlink connection is very hit and miss to startup for me. It seems like at the moment this would only work somewhere there is absolutely no terrestrial cell rather than just somewhere with exceptionally poor coverage. It holds on to the terrestrial connection too long even past when it stops working for me.

@R3d_onX @Starlink We switched to T Mobile for the feature. Texting only at this point. Apparently they chose Whats App for voice calling, which is a mystery to me, and not a thing I like at all. There are many plain vanilla VoIP apps that are not Facebook apps that will never reside on my phone
