Mr. Limbaugh, thank you for this analysis. I am a bit more optimistic going forward. There have been certain fault lines in the past underlying conservativsm, which in the moment is perhaps exaggerated but with time another layer of sedimentary rock (so to speak) secures the greater political philosophy. Two examples. First, there were the Ford Republicans who (even well into the ‘80s) didn’t agree with Reagan’s agenda. That seems quaint to think about now but was real. Second, some ‘old guard Republicans’ didn’t agree with Bush 43’s rhetoric and approach in the Global War on Terror (think of the media stories eager to try to highlight disagreements the late Gen. Scowcroft or other GOP had with 43 and VP Cheney). Now, that divide is almost a footnote to history. The point is this: in the relative political moment there’s a bit of a frenzy to amplify a divide and (perhaps intentionally) split the conservative moment. When the goal for Republicans should be to unite, as best possible, to politically defeat Democrats in elections. And I think this can be accomplished. A political party or political movement implies a plurality of some kind to be sorted out. Thank you for your commentary.

Never Trumpism was never totally about contempt for Trump & his supporters. Trump's rise accelerated a latent schism in the conservative movement that would have eventually ripened into a seismic fracture w/o Trump. Hindsight shows the coalition was built on a fragile foundation.

[THIS POST IS DIRECTED AT MASSIE SUPPORTERS AND NO ONE ELSE.]
I am sick and tired of Massie supporters stating how “disappointed” they are at me for calling out his constant perfidy.
I oppose Massie precisely because I so strongly support conservatism.
Massie always TALKS a good conservative game, but when push comes to shove and actual ACTION is needed, he is the Democrat’s best friend.
Don’t cite some rating agency’s “conservative score” for Massie in a feeble attempt to contradict me. When his vote is not needed, he votes conservative. But when his vote IS needed, he grandstands as the toxic narcissist he is, mumbles about his precious “principles,” and then ensures that things go the Democrat’s way.
Politics requires some level of compromise. Always has. Always will. Anyone who refuses to ever compromise does the bidding of the people he/she disagrees with. Massie talks about supporting Republicans while his actions and inactions (the ones that actually matter) support Democrats.
And Epstein? Show me what Massie has done that actually holds criminals accountable on the Epstein matter. And guess what? Criticizing Massie on his disgusting exploitation of Epstein victims for his own personal gain does not make me a “pedophile protector,” you ignorant, libelous tools.
There is a reason that the New York Times, rabid Marxist Ro Khanna and Crazy Candace Owens all support Thomas Massie. If you are a Massie supporter, I adjudge you as being indistinguishable from the NYT, Khanna and Crazy Candace.
That’s the company you keep, you conservatism-hating Massie supporters.
Don’t like it? Don’t follow me. Go follow the Krassensteins, as that’s where your beliefs align as a practical matter. Now beat it.
(And no, Israel did not pay me $7,000 to post this, you paranoid antisemitic monsters.)

We now live in a world where:
- Rape victims get less sympathy than their rapists
- Homeowners get less than the squatters breaking in
- American vets get less than illegal migrants
- Repeat felons with 186 charges get 200 more “chances” because “society made them do it”
This isn’t kindness.
This is suicidal empathy.
Universities spent decades teaching our judges, leaders, and elites that personal agency is a myth if you check the right oppression boxes. So criminals become victims, victims become bigots for complaining, and the whole system rots from the inside.

Barack Obama was NEVER smooth. They marketed him as smooth but he never actually was. He read from a teleprompter and would frequently lose his temper at his adversities. I never saw the “smooth” that everyone else saw. I saw an arrogant jerk who had his whole backstory painted out for him. The man was a complete FRAUD
