Apparently, he left British Gas after five years to set up on his own. Fair enough.
BUT … on his local election statement, he says he worked through the pandemic for the NHS.

My understanding of a veteran was somebody that has been to war, fought in battle & put their life at risk for this country. Personally i would not call my self a veteran if i hadnt served my country in battle.
Technically a veteran is ANYBODY that has signed up to offer service to the British Army.
This was never an attack on Veterans, maybe just a misunderstanding of the term depending on who you speak to about it.
My actual intentions were to make sure he wasnt claiming to be a real veteran if he wasnt due to a claim from a member of the local community in Makerfield that said he never served and had only been in the reserves.

Apparently Reform UK candidate is claiming to be a veteran, but hasnt ever served and was just a reserve. Is this being used to garner support or has he actually served our country? Im asking questions, not attacking him btw. Its just that imo a vet is somebody that has been to war, not just somebody that signed up to the army reserves.

Robert Kenyon claims to have been a plumber for 20+ years yet, his company was only set up a few months ago.
Furthermore, his account here on X was suspended for unknown reasons and then all of a sudden, he makes a new account and the account information shows it was based in and connected via the American App Store 🤔
