From the Military to Web3 Gaming. I spent 10 long years serving in an institution bound by strict rules. Now I am a Web3 Gaming content creator, entrepreneur and degen full time. After 12 years of school sitting on a desk the whole day I decided that the university wouldn't be a good fit for me. I was already a workout junkie so I decided to go to the military when I was 19 to seek new challenges. Bootcamp wasn't easy. Actually I had to interrupt it because I broke my foot and had to go through surgery. After recovering I went back and finished it and finally became a soldier. Life became boring quite fast. It all fell into one endless routine. So I decided to seek new challenges again and went to Sergeant's School. Sergeant's School made me go 1 year under strict military doctrine. Everyone had to get a pass to go home at the weekend. Our passes would get revoked quite often making us spend more than 15 days without leaving the military facility. We had to go through military drills, sleep in the wild, study, crawl in the mud and we were sleep deprived all the time. Life was hard back then. But it's by overcoming hardships that you grow. After that I finally graduated and life became boring again. All fell into that unbearable "9-5 secure job" routine. After a few years on the workforce I had changed. I no longer identified with the army's mentality. That's when I found out about BTC through scams. A bit later I found @AxieInfinity, and that's when my journey in Web3 really began. I founded an Axie School and started creating content. That school grew fast up to the point where I was helping 50 families in need in the Philippines. I wanted to leave the army, but I had to pay a lot of money to do so I decided to stay there until yesterday. Today's my first day as a civilian, Creator, Degen and Entrepreneur in the Web3 World. You're all my tribe and the people I vibe with. Nevertheless, I don't regret going to the army because I got: - Life changing lessons - Some of the best friends I have - A refuge from all the problems I had at home - Great memories that I'll share with my grandchildren - My nickname But now I escaped the rat race and my dream became true. So thank you for being part of my journey! <3
