Prophecy is out, can we consider this as security tips or lead enough to rescue the people.. Another teacher must not be killed óò This is Prophet G.F David..

Out of genuine concern, is it not possible to consider measures like a State of Emergency declaration and manhunt, a lockdown, or even a 24-hour curfew in the affected areas to help address the situation? Ọlọ́run gba wa 😭

Today, I had an engaging and fruitful audience with my dear brother, H.E Rotimi Amaechi, @ChibuikeAmaechi, at his residence in Abuja. Amaechi is a statesman whose distinguished service as a two-time Speaker, two-time Governor, and two-time Minister continues to echo in the annals of our national life. I remain deeply grateful for the warmth, grace, and generosity of spirit with which he received me and my delegation. –AA.

Dangote has done three things in the last 72 hours that the Nigerian government could not do in 60 years. He cut aviation fuel to N1,650 per litre, slashed diesel and aviation fuel prices at ex-depot level, and filed a lawsuit to stop NNPC and private marketers from importing fuel that his refinery is already producing in surplus. Now the oil marketers are crying monopoly. Let us be honest about what monopoly means in this context. For 60 years, a cartel of fuel importers held Nigeria hostage, collecting $10 billion annually in subsidy, keeping state refineries deliberately broken, and charging Nigerians premium prices for refined crude they sent abroad themselves. Nobody called that a monopoly. Nobody filed a lawsuit about market stability when ordinary Nigerians queued for fuel in an oil producing country for decades. One private refinery starts cutting prices, increasing supply, and going to court to enforce a law that already says imports are only permitted when local supply is insufficient, and suddenly the marketers have discovered the language of competition and consumer protection. The law is clear. The Petroleum Industry Act only permits fuel imports when domestic supply cannot meet demand. Dangote’s refinery is supplying over 90% of Nigeria’s daily petrol consumption. The legal basis for those import licences does not exist. He is not asking for a favour. He is asking for the law to be applied. The marketers built their business model on Nigeria’s inability to refine its own oil. That inability has been solved by one man with private capital. Their business model is obsolete and their objection is not about market stability. It is about market access to a rent they no longer deserve.

Bukola Saraki counting himself as a Northerner is something I still can’t figure out properly. He said that Northerners showing ambition now should wait until 2031, and that for the North, this period belongs to the South.

State visits by Leaders are not tourism, and diplomacy is not a fashion parade. Every foreign trip undertaken by a government must deliver measurable benefits to the people, including investments, technology transfer, trade agreements, factory expansion, industrial partnerships, and job creation. During President Trump’s recent visit to China, the American delegation reportedly included a few top government officials, and many of the biggest figures in global business and technology: Consequently, huge trade deals worth several billion dollars including about 200 Boeing orders were achieved. The list of the entourage included 1. Donald J. Trump – President of the United States 2. Marco Rubio – Secretary of State 3. Pete Hegseth – Secretary of Defence 4. Elon Musk – CEO, Tesla & SpaceX 5. Jensen Huang – CEO, Nvidia 6. Tim Cook – CEO, Apple 7. Larry Fink – CEO, BlackRock 8. Stephen Schwarzman – CEO, Blackstone 9. Kelly Ortberg – CEO, Boeing 10. Brian Sikes – CEO, Cargill 11. Jane Fraser – CEO, Citigroup 12. Larry Culp – CEO, General Electric 13. David Solomon – CEO, Goldman Sachs 14. Sanjay Mehrotra – CEO, Micron Technology 15.Cristiano Amon – CEO, Qualcomm 16. Dina P. McCormick – President of Meta 17. Ryan McInerney – CEO, Visa 18. Michael Miebach – President, Mastercard 19. Jim Anderson – CEO, Coherent 20. Jacob Thaysen – CEO, Illumina That is how serious nations approach diplomacy, by aligning foreign policy with economic expansion, industrial growth, innovation, and national productivity. I hope that lessons can be learned from these recent visits comparing them with the President of Nigeria’s recent state visit to the United Kingdom. A large entourage of politicians, aides, and government officials travelled, yet Nigerians are still asking a simple question: what exactly did Nigeria bring home? Which factories are coming to Nigeria? What power, technology, manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial agreements were secured? How many direct jobs will this visit create for Nigerian youths? What investments were attracted? What measurable economic outcomes can the ordinary Nigerian point to? The delegation reportedly included: 1. President Bola Tinubu 2. Senator (Mrs) Tinubu 3.12 governors 4.9 ministers 5.7 members of the National Assembly 6. Over 20 senior State House staff 7. Over 30 security personnel 8. Over 10 domestic staff 9. Several supporters and associates It is not enough to ride horses, wear matching uniforms, attend royal banquets, and release glossy photographs. Symbolism without substance cannot feed hungry citizens. Today, Nigeria is in decline, battling serious insecurity, food insecurity, unemployment, a weakened naira, declining industrial productivity, and worsening poverty. At a time when millions of Nigerians struggle daily to afford food and survive economic hardship, every kobo spent on foreign trips must produce tangible national value: investments, factories, jobs, exports, infrastructure, and economic opportunities. Nigeria needs leadership that is focused less on optics and more on productivity; less on ceremony and more on measurable economic results. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Aliko Dangote in Tanzania: "The governments of East Africa will be part owners of this refinery. It doesn't matter where the location is. And Tanzania, we have offered Tanzania to also be a part owner of this refinery. So the technical teams who have agreed they are going to look at where it's best suited and wherever it's best suited we'll do that refinery."
Kenyan Wall Street@kenyanwalstreet

Aliko Dangote says he favours Mombasa over Tanzania's Tanga for a proposed US$15-17Bn, 650,000-barrel-per-day East African refinery. He told the Financial Times that Kenya has a bigger economy and larger consumer base. Dangote said President Ruto holds the decision: "Whatever President Ruto says is what I'll do." East Africa currently imports all refined petroleum from the Middle East, a vulnerability exposed by supply disruptions and price spikes during the US-Israel war on Iran.

Last August, in partnership with the Dangote Group, we made significant progress by signing a landmark shareholders’ agreement for a fertilizer plant with a planned annual production capacity of 3 million metric tons of urea. In October 2025, we officially launched construction of the project. This initiative represents far more than infrastructure. It is a strategic investment in Ethiopia’s agricultural transformation, food security, industrial growth, and economic self-reliance. Once completed, the fertilizer plant will play a vital role in strengthening local production capacity, reducing dependence on imports, supporting millions of farmers, and creating new opportunities for jobs and investment. This morning, together with @AlikoDangote, I visited the project site in Gode to assess the progress achieved so far. I am encouraged by the steady momentum across the project area. Construction activities are advancing as planned across multiple sections of the site, reflecting the strong commitment and collaboration driving this important national project forward.

Mrs. Felicia Adesina, a Yoruba woman from Ikenne, created a green pepper stew so perfect it crossed every ethnic boundary in Nigeria. Bleached palm oil, iru, assorted meats. Her husband’s nickname became the dish’s name. Aya Mase. She started with a pot. She ended with a dynasty.

I read the speech from Cubana Chief Priest where he said the elders disappointed him. I'm sure by now he understands how Asiwaju feels about Orji Uzor Kalu who got votes for himself and not for Asiwaju yet their election was on same day... He should also ask Sheu Sani how far?😹

2024 - Tinubu cleared over $900 million of trapped airline funds. 2025-2026 - over 10 new private and state airlines entered the Nigerian aviation sector. 2026 - Airbus wants to establish Nigeria/West Africa’s first truly large-scale global OEM-backed aviation maintenance ecosystem involving Airbus directly. I know we are all concerned about the price of pepper but Nigeria is truly building an industrialized high income technical economy.

90% of the iPhone is manufactured and assembled in China. Nobody looks at an iPhone assembled in China and says “China built Apple.” 95% of Tesla cars especially Model X and Model Y are sourced and manufactured in China. Nobody looks at a Tesla and says “China built Tesla” 90% of Nvidia AI chips are fabricated in Taiwan by the TSMC. Nobody says Taiwan built Nvidia. But when an African/Africans do the exact same thing, suddenly that understanding disappears. Then it becomes:
“China built it for Africa.”
“Americans built it for Africa.” Aliko Dangote and Nigeria built the largest single train refinery in the world. He is Nigerian and an African. Thank you!
