Uganda’s National Park Stories 🇺🇬 — Bwindi Edition What we love about Uganda… it’s not just the beauty, it’s the impact. Nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas live right here in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park🦍 But here’s the part that makes it even more powerful… In the 1970s, their numbers dropped drastically due to poaching and habitat loss. Today, through conservation and community efforts, they’re making a comeback. #ExploreUganda #TravelwithTravad

We officially reached the heart of the park and took to the Nile for an unforgettable boat cruise Seeing herds of elephants, massive hippos, and crocodiles basking in the sun all in one afternoon was pure magic The vibrant birdlife along the banks really showed us why this landscape is so special It’s moments like these that truly define what makes Murchison Falls unique #ShuaaSafarisLimited #WildeWereldAfrikaSafaris #ExploreUganda

That intense stare from a massive silverback mountain gorilla in Uganda's Bwindi forest. Up to 220kg of pure power, yet gentle leaders protecting their troops. Only ~1,063 left in the wild. Over 400 are right here in Bwindi. These share 98% of our DNA. Pure majesty. Have you trekked with them? #GoldenPosts #MountainGorilla #Bwindi #UgandaWildlife #Silverback

Why did Winston Churchill call Uganda the “Pearl of Africa” in the early 1900s? Because nowhere else did he witness such breathtaking contrasts, lush rainforests, vast savannahs, snowcapped peaks and the lifeblood of the River Nile, all in one place. A rare, living masterpiece.
