I follow the news just like you do. If Ripple acquires Circle, my views are as follows:
Circle is the largest and most reliable American stablecoin issuer in the market. The biggest forces behind it are traditional finance (TradFi) giants such as BlackRock, Fidelity, and Goldman Sachs. Their most famous product is USDC (USD Coin), which is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and backed one to one by cash and US Treasury bonds.
The integration of Circle and USDC into the XRP Ledger (XRPL) ecosystem, or a strategic partnership with Ripple, brings 3 major structural benefits directly to XRP:
1) XRP's Role as a 'Bridge Asset' Becomes Mandatory.
2) The Necessity for 'Available Effective Liquidity' Pushes the Price Upward
3) A Surge in Simultaneous Volume Occurs
The presence of Circle means dumping the cleanest and largest institutional 'water volume' into the XRPL pipeline. For that water to flow without bursting the pipes (without creating volatility and slippage), the value capacity of XRP must be designed to be very large from the very beginning.
We will see whether the news is real or fake, or if the purpose of 589 in the image is different.
