Monthly developer recap update is now live! April has been a major month behind the scenes as the team pushes toward release and long-term studio growth as our focus. ⚙️ MTX Payment Flow Complete: Our monetization flow is now fully implemented! Players can purchase Merchant Marks and receive them directly in-game. The system is now in final QA and compliance checks ahead of launch. 🚀 Launch Preparation Underway: With core systems complete, networking and QA teams have shifted into final release prep: resolving remaining bugs, stress readiness, and polishing the Alpha build. 🌍 World Polish & Visual Improvements: The content team has entered final refinement mode, including: • Improved grass shading / ambient occlusion • Better biome blending near mountain regions • New beach grass assets • Greater environmental variation across the world 🏢 Studio Growth Initiatives: We have also been exploring the best long-term structure for Domi’s future expansion, including opportunities that better support a global gaming studio and sustainable growth. ⚔️ It’s been a long road but we’re closer than ever to getting Domi Online into your hands!

Our Weekly update is now live! 20/02/2026 The networking issue we have been fighting for over a month is finally resolved. Now behind us and that means we can move forward properly with finalising the launch of the game! 🌐 Website Revamp: Aligning with our Open Alpha release , we will also be rolling out a completely revamped website. This includes: - Improved performance - Better SEO structure - Updated technical stack - Security improvements - Reworked content & layout 🎮 Content Team Update This week has been focused on general improvements across the game to enhance immersion and usability. Emotes now support particle effects Actions such as chopping trees or mining rocks will now trigger VFX which improves the overall feel and feedback of gameplay. Player Interaction (Right Click) You can now right-click other players to bring up interaction options such as: - Inspect - Message With future support planned for: - Trading - Attacking Improved Enemy Movement Enemy movement is now properly lerped together — which should significantly reduce (or eliminate) the jittering you may have seen previously. Reusable MTX Shop UI The MTX shop UI is now fully modular and reusable. This means we can repurpose it for other systems — such as the furniture catalogue for your player housing. New Crafting Effects Added new visual effects when creating items - such as sparks when striking your hammer against an anvil.

Our Weekly update is now live! 06-13/02/2026 This week has been a little unconventional behind the scenes! Unexpected internet outage (courtesy of a builder cutting through a dev’s cable!) to illness across the team, we weren’t able to hold our usual planning meeting. Despite this, progress on networking for Open Alpha has continued! Over the past few weeks, the team has been rebuilding our server deployment service from the ground up This became necessary due to Unity’s move to a newer version of glibc, which is unsupported by AWS’s default Linux images. As a result, we have transitioned which has restored full server functionality. We are currently deploying manually via containers using AWS ECS, which now provides orchestration features such as: • Autoscaling • Health/Game/Server monitoring • Process restarts • Log routing Our ECS deployment pipeline is now integrated directly into our CI/CD system allowing the team to build and deploy new server instances with a single click!🖱️ Some more work required around server health monitoring and autoscaling. We will conduct a codebase optimisation pass to address these shortly however, the majority of this work is now complete! Next major focus will shift toward payment system integration which is a key milestone toward commercial release and long-term studio sustainability as we continue expanding the Domi IP. Our Weekly update is now live! 30/01/2026 We are excited to confirm that a long-awaited roadmap feature is now in development: Player Owned Housing! Players will soon be able to own and customize a home away from home using items found, crafted, or earned in-game! Housing will not be purely cosmetic either it will offer real gameplay benefits 🎮 🏠 Housing Basics • Houses available across the city in various sizes & price points • Purchased with standard in-game currency (Gold/Silver) or Premium Currency (Merchant Marks) 🔨 Furnishing & Build Mode • Core materials: Planks, Nails, Cloth / Hide • Build Mode lets you preview items before committing resources • Move, rotate, scale, and finalize when ready • Save unfinished layouts and complete them later We will share more about the functional benefits of housing in next weeks development update!

🚀 2026 Kickoff Dev Update – Setbacks, Progress & Momentum Ahead! First, a big infrastructure change we want to openly share: Since late 2024, we have invested alot of time integrating Beam’s SDK across our login, wallet, sphere marketplace, and staking systems, all intended for Open Alpha. Recently, Beam announced a strategic shift away from gaming, meaning their SDK + Sphere Marketplace are no longer supported as of January 2026. This forces us to pause all Beam-dependent features. What this means: • Open Alpha remains our #1 priority • Core gameplay & content are not affected • Some Web3 functionality won’t ship Day 1 • We are actively reviewing long-term infrastructure alternatives While frustrating, we are genuinely thankful this happened before Open Alpha. Releasing our game on an unsupported backend tech would have caused far larger issues down the line. Now, onto what we have been working on! 💪 Despite backend challenges, the team has been making strong progress across gameplay, content, and social systems. 🪵 New Profession: Carpentry We are excited to introduce Carpentry! A new profession deeply integrated into Combat and Blacksmithing. Crafting is now more immersive: wooden components no longer magically appear. Want to craft a pickaxe? You’ll now need to: → Gather logs → Process them at a Sawmill → Craft wooden components As you level, higher-tier timber unlocks better recipes which adds meaningful progression and depth to the crafting ecosystem. Alongside this, we have continued work on: • Player-to-player trading • Voice chat + Discord SDK integration • Final MTX system polish • Network testing across multiplayer features ⚙️Now, the not-so-fun technical battle Our AWS servers began crashing instantly on boot even on empty builds. After days of investigation, we discovered Unity 6.3 now hard-requires glibc 2.35, while Amazon Linux 2023 only supports glibc 2.34, breaking GameLift compatibility with zero warning. Rather than roll back and delay the inevitable, we are migrating to GameLift containers, giving us full control over our Linux environment and permanently solving this class of issues. A painful fix - but a long-term win for Domi Online! Despite a bumpy start to 2026, momentum is building fast. Thank you for sticking with us - weekly dev updates resume next week ❤️

📢 Final Dev Update of 2025 – Holidays, Roadmap & the Future of Domi! 🎄 Happy Holidays from the Domi team! This marks our final development update of 2025. As we head into the new year, we’re excited about what’s coming next and wanted to share a clear snapshot of progress, timelines, and where Domi is headed. 🛠️ Recent Progress • Engine upgrade from Unity 2022 → Unity 6.3 • Over half of existing environments visually updated • New Farming skill & Conquest Guild added • Combat improvements for players and NPCs • Networking stability improvements for the next release • Combat AI upgrades, successful stress tests, and ongoing bug fixes 📅 Release Timeline We initially aimed to release this year, but development took longer than expected as we felt a final additional playtest was necessary. ➡️ New target: Open Alpha in Q1 2026 🎮 Industry Context & Domi’s Position The games industry is facing layoffs, studio/game closures, and major shifts across both traditional and web3 studios which has been very disheartening for both our studio and community. Despite this, Domi remains in a healthy position! Progress has taken longer because we’ve focused on sustainable development. Keeping costs low, avoiding inflated budgets, and steering clear of unnecessary hires or risky commitments. This approach is critical for a long-term MMO. While the industry faces challenges, we remain fully committed to bringing Domi to its next milestone: Open Alpha. 💰 Sustainability & Monetization As a free-to-play MMORPG, long-term sustainability requires monetization. Our current thinking includes: • Optional cosmetic items (pets, skins, emotes) with no gameplay advantages • A potential VIP subscription (early concept) with convenience perks such as extra bank space, monthly cosmetics, and long-term progression incentives Nothing is finalized, community input comes first! 💬 We Want Your Feedback We have created a short form to gather feedback over the holidays to help shape the future of Domi with the community at the forefront, which can be found in a below post! ❤️ Thank you for all the support in 2025. Our Weekly update is now live! 05/12/2025 ⏳ Another week, another Domi Online dev update! A short one this time, but a lot of work happening behind the scenes! Player Feedback Implementations: - Added minimap zoom (highly requested!) - Standing near a light source at night now gives a buff that lets you read the world map - Additional player abilities re-enabled: Invisibility, Charge, Hex ⚔️ World & Combat Updates - City cemetery continues its environment overhaul with new rocks and trees - More combat VFX improvements + new monster ability work - Enemies are now smarter! They can detect who’s dealing the most damage and may switch targets. Small change now, but it unlocks bigger AI features later. 🛠️ Engine Upgrade Check-In Unity 6.3 LTS just dropped! We have tested it, and aside from a shader issue in a third-party asset, the upgrade looks smooth. Not many game-relevant features this cycle, but staying up to date keeps development stable.

Our Weekly update is now live! 28/11/2025 It’s been a busy week across the board for the team! ⚔️ Combat, Enemies & Environments We are polishing the environments shown in recent updates and expanding the combat system so we can finally scale up enemy capabilities. Our team is also graphically updating Stannfyr and its surrounding slums which is a core location in Domi Online. We loved your enemy ability ideas, and once the new system is stable, we’ll review which can make it in! 🖧 Networking & Backend We have improved our CI/CD pipeline, patched gameplay-related backend issues, and upgraded all backend services with better versioning, API authentication, and cleaner configuration control. Our CI/CD overhaul now supports fully automated builds & deployments for the game, servers, and installer which massively speeds up development and testing.

Our Weekly update is now live! 21/11/2025 This week’s update is all about combat! One of the most voiced bits of feedback we have had is that enemies felt too similar in how they behaved. We have been deep in a new phase of AI work focused on expanding enemy attack types. - Wolves now have several melee variations, including one that can apply Bleed. - Bats have received a big upgrade too, switching between melee and ranged attacks based on the situation. The core systems for these new behaviours are now complete, and we are in the process of rolling them out across the NPC's! If you have got any ideas for enemy abilities, drop them our way, Our team will see what’s possible! The main limitations are movement-heavy mechanics or attacks that would require animations the creatures simply don’t have (yet). Looking ahead, a post-launch phase will introduce advanced movement behaviours such as tactical retreats, hit-and-run attacks, and more dynamic positioning. We have also been hammering away at core combat bugs: tuning damage calculations, ensuring Mana Shield works reliably, and adding new buffs and debuffs to flesh out the system.

Our Weekly update is now live! 14/11/2025 Keeping the momentum going after our recent environmental updates from the Unity 6 upgrade, we are now shifting attention to one of our most iconic areas - The dreaded Swamp Zone. The Swamp Zone is a dreaded region crawling with foul creatures, dragons, and towering leviathans. Those who ventured there during the playtest know exactly how dangerous these foes can be! What’s new in the Swamp Zone revamp: - Enhanced swamp biome with new, unique assets - Updated VFX for the area (still being refined) - Improved NPC placements for more direct and engaging combat Our Networking Team is currently focused on backend maintenance and resolving bug reports flagged during playtests/QA, while the rest of the dev team continues enhancing various areas we are excited to showcase soon. Our top priority remains clear: Open Alpha. We can’t wait to share that journey with all of you when the time comes!

Our Weekly update is now live! 07/11/2025 We are kicking off the first week of November with a festive chill across Domi! ❄️ This week, our team is excited to unveil a first look at the revamped Vyorkur Mountains - located at the very heart of the mainland! 🏔️ Previously a tough region to travel into with very few encounters, the Vyorkur Mountains have now been reborn with: 🪨 Updated snow-rock formations ⛈️ Enhanced weather systems as you climb ⚔️ Fierce new foes lurking in the peaks ⛳️ Unique points of interest to make exploration feel more rewarding Meanwhile, our developers continue pushing forward on bug fixes, new professions, and player feedback from the last playtest. Our QA team has been hard at work refining the new Farming profession, while also improving world map integration to support upcoming environments and future zones! Lastly, Our team are finalising reviewing the Bug Bounty rewards and plan to begin airdropping them to our Discord users next week! 🪲💰 Stay warm, stay sharp and we hope to see you all soon in Vyorkur mountains!
