It’s very difficult to develop as a ball player and play an excessive amount of games and showcases. Weight room, long toss, pull downs, bat to ball skills, foot speed, and even bat exit speeds can only be improved with deliberate work and consistent practice.

Players. Do the things people may be telling you not to do. Bench Press-Build a base level of upper body strength. Play as many competitive games as possible-It's how moxie, feel and instincts are developed. Long Toss-Throw it as high and as far as possible. Pitching Machine-It's the only way to get enough reps vs velocity and breaking balls. Lift Year Round-Don't stop lifting during the season. Do More. Throw More. Lift More.

Mason Boyken represented TRB at the Senior All-Star tournament this weekend capping off a tremendous high school career. Great work, Mason!

Congratulations to Mason Boyken and Patrick Karlen for being named to the 2025 MSHSBCA All-State Team. During their time as teammates over the past four seasons, TRB posted a record of 73-24 and two conference titles. High level competitors and teammates.
