Germany defended Israel at the ICJ. This is what unconditional support looks like from the receiving end. Not gratitude. Contempt.

If you substitute the “Entertainment” (in the novel it is the mysterious cartridge containing a short avant-garde film with strange properties) with AI for instance = boom!
