As part of #BlackHistoryMonth, RNAO will bring together its board of directors and assembly of leaders for the 26th annual Queen’s Park Day in Toronto on Thursday, Feb. 26. Ontario gov't (@ONgov) has announced additional $30 million investment to expand the province’s primary care health-care workforce. In the gov't release, RNAO CEO @DorisGrinspun says: "The addition of 170 nurse practitioner education seats, alongside the upskilling of 1,400 registered nurses for primary care practice, represents a significant investment in Ontario’s health-care workforce. Strengthening nursing capacity in primary care will improve access and continuity of care for Ontarians. Primary care is a hallmark of any advanced health system."
