🚨 Arrested simply for praying outside an abortion clinic. Is freedom of speech in danger? ECR member and President of the ECR Working Group on Freedom of Speech, @StjepoBartulica, hosted @IsabelVSpruce, who was arrested in the UK and is now facing legal proceedings for silently praying outside an abortion clinic. She's not alone. Several arrests have taken place in the UK in recent months, raising serious concerns about growing limits on freedom of expression, conscience, and peaceful presence in public space. Open discussions were followed by a press conference with ECR Co-Chairman @PatrykJaki.

⚠️ Political Islam and separatist networks represent a growing challenge to Europe’s democratic stability. Our member @NicolasBay_ hosted talks in Strasbourg on the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood, featuring H.E. @MoAlSahlawi, UAE Ambassador to the EU. Addressing ‘Western naivety’ and defending our values are top priority. Security and awareness must come first.
