Samuele Battistella abandoned stage 5 of the Giro d’Italia. Samuele pushed on after his stage 2 crash to try to help his teammates at his home grand tour, but the abrasions and haemotoma from his fall proved too much. He will now travel home to rest and recover. Heal up, Samu 💕

💔💔💔 Ben Healy will miss the Ardennes after scans confirmed a small, non-displaced sacral fracture from his crash at Itzulia Basque Country. This one hurts. Ben’s been building toward these races all year “It’s gutting. I’ve just got to roll with the punches. I’m trying not to think about it too much, but it’s going to suck to watch the Ardennes and not be a part of it. That’s bike racing. It just is what it is.”.
