March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Let’s talk early detection. Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer worldwide and the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related deaths. The good news? It is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers when detected early. Screening — especially colonoscopy — can: ✔ Detect and remove precancerous polyps ✔ Diagnose cancer at an early stage ✔ Significantly reduce mortality 🚩 Red flag symptoms: • Persistent change in bowel habits • Rectal bleeding • Ongoing abdominal pain • Unexplained weight loss • Fatigue or anaemia Do not ignore symptoms. Do not delay screening. Early detection saves lives. In support of the campaign by the European Society of Coloproctology. #ColonCancerAwarenessMonth #ColorectalCancer #EarlyDetection #ESCP
