By nature, women date higher while men date lower.
However, in the real world we're dating and marrying those who are in approximate levels as us.
The chances of the cleaner marrying the gateman is higher than her marrying a doctor. The same with the chances of the nurse marrying a doctor is higher than marrying the manager.
