Starting this workshop to cabin conversion in Tennessee, I got this 5 acres of land in October as a gift for someone I promised a cabin too and just because of the workshop on it knowing I could convert the run down shop into a beautiful luxury cabin, funny how things can change so fast but I’m looking forward too turning this negative into a positive cause I’m going pure top of the line everything in a cabin setting, and a different area of America to be cozy in, I’ll have all the updated photos as I go on this pinned post in the reply’s

Kinda funny to me cause I used to tell people I don’t get out of bed for under $130 an hour and they thought I was joking, elevator mechanics for the win (though I think the numbers don’t take into our overtime cause I made way more than pilots who got #1 and my average years were 400k plus and pre covid money back then)

My hourly rate when I was working in the elevator union was 90 an hour and that was pre covid 2019, I retired the same year covid struck in 2020 , elevator mechanics get paid double time not time and a half, and that 90 was separate from my benefit package that was another 35 an hour, best way to put it is when I went to the doctor our benifits were so good I never paid a dime not a co pay not a premium nothing.

I was a mechanical engineer doing aerospace before I left it cold for the elevator union (it’s a 99 percent union job) my lowest year and I mean lowest was as a first year apprentice I made 75k, after that I never made less than 200 and most years I was making 400, trust me I’ll take being retired at 40 and chilling in the woods over being in congress.

Yeah I glanced at some of them, the expectations they have are crazy like my rentals I’m pretty much like “don’t burn the place down notify me or the management company of any water leaks” outside of that I just leave people alone. I much more prefer that style of renting to people 😂😂.

As someone who rents a lot of real estate, I can help but laugh at seeing the airbnb numbers collapsing cause those same people that gave me shit about how I was wasting opportunity’s to make way more money are now having to sell at a loss or being foreclosed on ….. meanwhile my tenants are paying every month consistently and since I only raise rents if I absolutely have too cause property tax goes up I have an almost 100 percent occupancy rate.

Sister got done with her schooling and is now a Nurse Anesthetist so me my stepdad and her fiancé chipped in to get her a new jeep to surprise her with this weekend, and I got myself a new 1911 and some cookies cause sometimes that sweet tooth hits hard. #jeep #springfield1911 #cookies #allamericancombo
