Whoosh. UK GDP (3m/3m) +0.5% in February - the fastest rate of quarterly growth for 11 months. Supports what most of us had been identifying in the economic data - a decent pre-War pick up in economic momentum. Alas looks rear-view mirror stuff now, but vindicates some of the stability that had been building post-Budget.

As an example I have a tick against SMIF today. But no tick against EWI and no message to say you could find it in 'shareholder meetings'.
