We strengthen the Group's commitment to the energy transition path, integrating financial and environmental sustainability into every aspect of our strategy.
Ten years after the Paris Agreement, the international treaty that commits countries to limit global warming, we have made significant progress towards achieving the set goals.
Here are just a few of the results achieved:
+84% renewable capacity – 68 GW compared to 37 GW in 2015.
84.5% zero emissions production on total, up from 45% in 2015.
-72% CO2 emissions per kWh produced from 2017 to today.
Looking ahead, over 80% of the 43 billion euros in investments planned for 2025-2027 are aligned with the EU Taxonomy, and over 90% are aligned with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
These goals drive us toward achieving net-zero emissions, both direct and indirect, by 2040.
