@MattWhitmanTMBH @NoDumbQs per photo storage I use a Mac mini with a 4TB SSD and a massive photo library because it locally processes metadata such as location, time, but also does people and things. However, with Apple it all happens locally.

Intent: "just patch it" mentality isn't the answer. Some places (industrial controls), this isn't an option. And more code is more code is more surface area + how much QA is done on a rushed release (typical patch). Security is being analytically purposeful for what *you* need.
