ومن خلال "مشروع الاستجابة لتعزيز الأمن الغذائي في #اليمن" #FSSRP الممول من @AlbankAldawli تدعم منظمة الأغذية والزراعة 1000 من مربي #النحل 🐝 بالأدوات والتدريب في 6 محافظات يمنية. 🇾🇪🌱

اليوم هو #اليوم_العالمي_للنحل! 🐝🌍 تحت شعار "معًا مع النحل من أجل الإنسان والكوكب"، تسلط @FAOYemen الضوء على الدور الحيوي للملقحات البرية في استدامة النظم الغذائية الزراعية والتنوع البيولوجي. لولا النحل والملقحات الأخرى، لما وُجد الكثير من طعامنا!

Through the @WorldBankGroup-funded #FSSRP project, FAO is supporting 1000 beekeepers with tools and training across six governorates.

🐝 Today is #WorldBeeDay! Under the theme “Bee Together for People and the Planet,” @FAOYemen highlights the vital role of wild pollinators in sustaining agrifood systems and biodiversity.

تضمنت البعثة ورشة عمل مكرسة لمراجعة المسودة الأولى لخطة التنمية الاقتصادية ل10 سنوات بوادي حجر، والتركيز على الإدارة المتكاملة للموارد المائية. التزاماً بالاستدامة، سلطت البعثة الضوء على التعاون مع محافظ محافظة حضرموت والسلطات المحلية وجامعة حضرموت لتعزيز الحوكمة المحلية للمياه.

شملت البعثة زيارة ميدانية لوادي حجر للاطلاع على سير العمل في إعادة تأهيل قنوات الري وتحسين كفاءتها. تسهم هذه التدخلات في تمكين المزارعين وجمعيات مستخدمي المياه من مواجهة شح المياه، واستعادة الإنتاج الزراعي، وحماية سبل عيش الأسر الريفية. 🌱💧

The mission featured a key stakeholder workshop to review the draft 10-year Economic Development Plan for Wadi Hajer. To ensure sustainability, the visit also highlighted collaboration with the Governor of Hadramout local authorities & Hadramout University.

A field visit to Wadi Hajer was included to review ongoing efforts in rehabilitating irrigation infrastructure & improving #water access. These interventions enable local farmers & Water User Associations to tackle #WaterScarcity, restore production, & safeguard #livelihoods.
