Within Norway, I’ve travelled so far about twice as far for work as I would on a round-the-world trip. Mostly by car (primarily in one of my beloved Nissan Navaras), but also often by plane and even once by train. And yes, Canadians might see it differently, but Norway is a big country. Anyway, I'm not talking about that kind of mobility. I'm talking about the mobility of raw materials, of #minerals. What is the real value of a barrel of #oil in a desert region that sometimes cannot be transported because a war breaks out every few years? What is the real value of #REE (rare earth elements) if you first have to clear 50 kilometers of vibrant jungle for an access road? What is the real value of a pound of #copper somewhere in a random steppe where you have to build a runway just to begin project development? What is the real value of an ounce of #gold from a region where it feels like a new government comes to power every two weeks, likely after one of the usual military coups, and potentially restricting access to your project? One of the most discussed topics in our conversations with potential project partners over the past few weeks and months is not just about the price levels, the overall market volatility or the general trends of minerals, nor the global scarcity or general demand for #metals. It's about the locations. And about the mobility that depends heavily on these locations. Mobility for exploration programs. Mobility for mining operations. Mobility you can rely on. In my view, Europe - and Scandinavia in particular - has a unique opportunity to take a leading role in a matter of long-term global importance or, as in so many other areas over the past few decades, to be left behind. It's not about opportunities - those are obvious for anyone who cares to take a deeper look - but about a serious decision that we all have to make here in the "old world." Another part of my fascination: the north – and the County of Nordland in particular – is home to a significant part of our @TeakoMinerals Project Hub, with an astonishing diversity of mineral occurrences: #copper, #zinc, #silver, #gold, #uranium, #thorium, #REE, #tungsten and many more. On our never-ending journey to meet and talk to stakeholders, there will be some highlights these days. In the counties of Trøndelag, Innlandet and Buskerud. 🇳🇴 I would like to share with you a thought I received just hours ago from a highly esteemed co-owner/shareholder: "Today, we 'removed' 10% of 5 projects (out of a total of around 70) from the project hub and protected them from dilution, while at the same time ensuring their further development." Each of these 5 times 10% could be worth more than Teako is currently valued at on the stock market. Of course, at this point in time, this is just a CEO's dream, but 3 things make me optimistic: - We have a very strong partner who is highly professional and exactly on our wavelength, also in terms of speed (and I'm 100% sure that this partner is currently greatly underestimated by the market). - We have sold projects in regions of Norway where we enjoy great local interest and support. Our Project Hub is based not only on the quality of the rocks, but also on the local people involved. Without them, nothing would work...and rightly so! Canadians may disagree, but Norway is a big country - and we know that where your projects are located really (!!!) matters. - We have sold 5 very promising projects that belong to our core business of base metals (mainly #copper and #zinc, but with significant precious metal credits). We are well aware of the potential of these areas and have therefore been looking intensively for a reputable partner who can take over both more early-stage exploration as well as the operation of brownfield projects with valuable tailings. The following images are from our site visit to the Sivilvangen project in 2023. At that time, we did not even own this area. Sometimes good things take time. Today we have news about $TMIN.cn #copper #zinc #gold I would like to focus on one aspect here: I am particularly proud of the great work done by our dedicated geo team, Freddie Duncalf, Harry Guest, Hendrik Ebel and Aidan Crilly, which has driven forward the 292 km² Venna project. This work has been extremely effective in 2024 and 2025 – both in terms of time and money, and in terms of the information gathered, which is being added to our ever-growing database of projects across #Norway. Venna was and undoubtedly is a main focus of Teako. We are now waiting for the lab results (although we have already had a small preview with our own pXRF) so that we can integrate them into our model and publish them. As we can be sure of the support and interest of the municipalities of Malvik, Selbu and Stjørdal, I believe that this project has the potential to be developed very smoothly. Combined with the existing infrastructure – several deap-sea ports, the E6 motorway, the Værnes Airport, the local road network and the railway – this is undoubtedly one of the best locations for our work as an #mineral #exploration company – and also for any future #mining company. We have every intention of accelerating work in this area based on our geological model, the results and the general prospects for this region. Consider this project a favourite of mine.

News from Teako Minerals Corp. | $TMIN $TMIN.CN | 👀 Teako announces the successful completion of its 2025 field program at the Løkken and Venna copper-cobalt-zinc main projects in central Norway, which has led to the development of a significant new massive sulfide target in the Mostadmarka Ironworks area at the Venna project. The area contains extensive formations of jaspers and quartz-magnetite cherts (>20km cumulative strike length) interpreted to be distal indicators of Cu-rich massive sulfide deposits. At the Løkken project, field crews completed mapping and sampling programs. In additon, a full structural assessment of drill core and target areas was conducted as part of an MSc research project in collaboration with Cardiff University. $TMIN.cn #copper #zinc #lead #silver in 🇧🇻 It began in the summer of 1966: A German mineralogist named Lothar Bosch put his boots on the mountains between Hemnes and Rana in the province of Nordland. Lothar’s words: “The Rostafjell is a mountain ridge covering an area of around 100 km²…It is bordered to the west by Sørfjord and Finneidfjord, and to the south and north by the steep valleys of Bjerkaelv and Dalselv…a number of prospecting pits were dug on Rostafjell around the turn of the century in search of ore." The nearest town is Mo i Rana, known for its long #mining history - and an active large open-pit mine. The region benefits from a highly developed, efficient infrastructure: deep-sea ports (incl. facilities supplying the Rana iron ore mine), regional airports, public & private roads, and a railway line (=Nordlandsbanen, transporting the iron ore). Our Rosta #copper-#zinc-#lead-#silver project is located directly on the border between the municipalities of Rana & Hemnes. The history of many families in the region is closely linked to mining. This also applies to the overall regional development – e.g. a large part of the town of Rana was built on waste rock from former mines. Rosta is close to all the infrastructure a miner could wish for; even the railway line crosses parts of the licenses. The more adventurous among us could literally throw the mineralized rocks down the mountain into the waiting freight carriages. Our target: Both SedEx (west) and VMS (east) mineralization. Less than 5km north is the Mofjell deposit. From 1928 to 1987, 4.35 million tonnes of crude ore have been produced there. We have seen some extensive exploration efforts on Mofjell while Rostafjell was widely ignored - for many decades. Looking east: The Småvatnan mineralization consists of lenses and veins of partly semi-massive sphalerite/galena ore, it can be followed for 30m along strike, the true strike length is unknown. Drilling is the next logical step here! Looking west: The area shows strong Cu anomalies within the same stratigraphic horizon that hosts the known mineralized occurrences. Magnitude of these anomalies is comparable to historic pits but extends over a broader area, suggesting the potential presence of a subsurface ore body. To say it in Lothar’s own words from 1966: "...the high copper content of the sediments in the center of the Rostafjell is striking, reaching approximately the same values as in the vicinity of the ore pits, but more widespread. Since the graphite gneiss does not cause such high Cu anomalies in the stream sediments at other locations, another cause must be assumed…This must then be of considerable extent..." I don't know about you, but these words motivate me to lace up my hiking boots… And so it happens: 60 years after these words were written, after Lothar walked the Rostafjell, Team Teako takes over, to follow in his footsteps – targeting substantial copper-zinc-lead-silver deposits in one of the mining-friendliest areas in Scandinavia.
