We would like to thank The Eric S. Margolis Foundation for their incredible support for our bird rescue efforts this year! Their generous grant to FLAP Canada will help ensure that more birds like this American Woodcock get a second change at life.

Every bird lost to a window collision is a tragedy, but you can make each of these birds count by reporting them on the Global Bird Collision Mapper. This data is invaluable to the fight for bird-safe buildings. birdmapper.org

Spring is right around the corner. The sun is shining, the temperature is warming up, and soon, the birds will be back! Together, we can make our neighbourhoods safer for birds. Treat your windows with effective visual markers, and turn off nonessential lighting at night.

On Saturday, we held a Celebration of Life for Brian Armstrong, an outstanding, long-time FLAP volunteer who we lost last August. It was a beautiful event, with many people from different areas of his life attending and sharing memories of him.
