The Trump Administration has publicly embraced the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, with Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr pledging to address concerns about toxins and pesticides in our food. Yet two years in, we still haven’t seen this happen.

Stripping these pesticide-friendly amendments had immense bipartisan support behind it. Protecting our health above pesticide companies’ profits is NOT a partisan issue.

The House stripped the Farm Bill of a pesticide liability shield. That would have given pesticide manufacturers legal immunity from lawsuits claiming their products harmed people. It also stripped a provision that would have prevented local govts from regulating pesticides.
