🇫🇷 Exposition « Martin Schongauer. Le bel immortel » 🌹
Jusqu’au 20 juillet 2026, découvrez l’un des artistes germaniques les plus importants et les plus populaires de la fin du Moyen Âge.
L’exposition présente une large sélection de son œuvre gravé et dessiné et, pour la première fois, la quasi-totalité de ses peintures de chevalet et retables, dont la Vierge au buisson de roses de 1473, son seul panneau peint daté. Schongauer s’y montre fin observateur de la nature, narrateur inventif et délicat, mais aussi artiste lettré.

Until July 20, 2026, discover one of the most important and popular German artists of the late Middle Ages.
The exhibition presents a wide selection of his engravings and drawings and, for the first time, almost all of his easel paintings and altarpieces, including the Madonna of the Rose Bower from 1473, his only dated panel painting. Schongauer reveals himself as a keen observer of nature, an inventive and delicate storyteller, and also a learned artist.
