One of our stops during our US Ghost Adventures tour of San Jose led us here. Back in the day, this area was a red-light district. Which meant there are lots of tawdry tales. And one bellicose ghost who still haunts this building today. It's seems he's itching to pick a fight.

During our @USGADVENTURES tour in San Jose, we stopped at the San Jose Improv Theater. While our guide told stories of a theater fire, my son leaned over and asked if I saw something in the upper left hand window. He swears he saw movement in the window.

Oops! We did it again. We took another ghost tour with US Ghost Adventures. This time, we took the walking tour in San Jose, California. We learned history of the town, with some spectral stories sprinkled in too. I'll share more about the tour this week. #usghostadventures

Take a tour of the Iolani Palace on Oahu. It was built in the 1880s and served as the royal residence of King Kalakaua and Queen Lili'uokalani. Tours of the palace include opportunities I visited the palace basement to see some of the roy Palace in my recently published article.

Climb inside a wagon? You don't need to ask us twice. At Four Mile Historic Park we came upon this covered wagon. The kids immediately climbed inside. It had the accouterments those who drove the wagons across the Plains and mountains of Colorado would store for the trip.

At the Four Mile Historic Park in Denver, we discovered this trapper's cabin. Colorado in the 1800s was a rough, sometimes wild place. But, it was also a potentially lucrative place for mountain men seeking a fortune. The cabin gave us insight into what their lives looked like.

We visited the Four Mile Historic Park in Denver back in 2018. We enjoyed seeing what life looked like in Colorado in the 19th Century. And we also got to pan for gold. The kids were sure they had hit pay dirt. I didn't have the heart to tell them it was pyrite.
