From event setup to tear-down, Mike plays an essential role in keeping the facility safe, efficient, and ready for whatever comes next — whether it’s a quiet day of prep or a packed show weekend. What does a typical day look like for you? “There is not a typical day around here, I could be pushing manure out of a barn, working an arena with a tractor, or sweeping and scrubbing any of the halls in the building.” Favorite Part of the Job? “My favorite part is that the work is rarely predictable. Equipment type and job demand change constantly.” Why should someone consider working in public service for the Commonwealth? “Job security and retirement are great benefits to working with the Commonwealth.
