Facilitators way overestimate their ability to "read the room." In a way, pandemic times have been helpful for this (although people may not realize it). Because they can't do this on a video conference, facilitators are looking for other (hopefully better) ways to get feedback.

I have 5 invites in my inbox to "co-create the future”. I’ve architected, negotiated, led a lot of co-creation work. True co-creation. With stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (regionally, economically, politically, culturally) + some that hate each other. What I've learned:
