@Fightincowboy Saw “kid rock” and became very nervous 😂

Took my kid rock climbing today and let me just say he's going to be the most monstrous kid entering kindergarten. Dude was flying up 5.8s with ease and had me belay him for three 5.9s and then a 5.11. Couldn't make the last jump needed for the 5.11 at the top, I locked him out and he proceeded to go back and forth until he had the momentum to just swing up and reach it. Lil Cowboy gonna be a monster at sports 🤣

New PC from @maingear is up and running, took an SSD from my old rig to crank the space even higher so I got 0.5TB for the OS, 1.5TB for games, and 2TB for recordings. Gonna have a standalone video on it soon but this thing is a behemoth!

Babysitter had to cancel so looks like some PEAK and then onto Nightreign I guess?

@ZodGenerally 2TB should be plenty. Last rig I only used 1TB of recording space and the only things that came close to filling it were Elden Ring and Crimson Desert. With 2 TB I should be able to handle recording anything and keep the entire series until uploads finish in case of corruptions.

@Fightincowboy Fair I was mostly thinking you’d need more storage cause I imagine you have giant file sizes from recording . Free is almost always better. Didn’t see the forest for the trees on that one.

@ZodGenerally What benefit would a separate HDD offer over an additional SSD that I already had? Old rig is likely turning into a steam PC, it won't need the 3TB it had so I took 2 and moved em to the new one.

LP content is always the hardest to grow. Even at 1.5M subs a typical let's play is only getting a couple thousand views once you're deep into the series. For comparison sake take a look at RadBrad. He's like the grandfather of LP content at this point. 14M subs, but once he's into a series is deep into the episodes it's maybe 60K views. That 0.5% of the sub # on views is the same metric I aim for.

Wins and Losses. I’m officially retired from traditional “ Let’s Plays” on the channel unless it’s a Chinese or Korean studio game as my channel niche is now. I’ve gotten my ass whooped for months now. Whether I’m just trash or algorithm . A change is coming. Time to GRIFT 😭

Solved it. Little shit was being finicky about displaying on HDMI. Plugged the same monitor into my laptop, set it to extend, and now it's finally working. Prob salty I took away it's display ports.

@playtform1 It previous had a 1/4, 2, 3 split and going down to the singular HDMI confused it I'm guessing.

@Fightincowboy I thought extending display is only possible by machine and not by monitor - machine being the source

My PC is such a fucking tsundre. Got a new rig in today, unplugged old one, got the new one all setup and running. Go to boot old one to transfer files, doesn't want to boot. PC knew it was getting replaced and now it doesn't wanna work lmfao
