Today, Treasury’s @FinCENnews amended an order to enable the liquidation of Mexico-based financial institution CIBanco. Treasury previously cut off CIBanco’s access to the U.S. financial system after finding that the bank facilitated the laundering of illicit opioid proceeds, and the Government of Mexico assumed control.
