Let me recommend Tomorrow Is Another Day, one of Cochran's best films and performances. For once, he doesn't play the heavy.

Now rewatching Gentlemen Prefer Blondes on the big screen. This is both MM and Jane Russell's best film. Well, it's the best film ever. (Except for Twentieth Century and At Long Last Love)

Ship of Fools is such a crappy mess. Not even these two can save it. But they have the only bit worth attention. When they meet and he tells her "he had the runs". She's (obviously) appalled and answers "How interesting, you should tell me more". That pretty much sums it up.
