Good morning! Recently, I shared some thoughts on loss & restoration. I wanted to reshare that message because I feel like many around us are walking through deep pain right now. We know what it's like to walk through loss.

I know a lot of people who aren’t the biggest fans of Trump’s “personality” but would climb over broken glass to vote for him in November. You’re not voting for a best friend. You’re voting for the best policies for you, your family, and your country.

You know what I mean if you’ve walked through it. When you walk through some kind of life altering tragedy it has the potential to lead you in one of two directions: Towards the love of the Father or into isolation which only distances us from His love.

Loss always carries the potential for restoration if we allow it to. Whether it’s our health or a relationship, a death or a divorce, God loves to heal and restore to even greater than before. There is a closeness to God that we experience in loss & grief that is like none other.

@shane_pruitt78 We know the fallen state of man and Scripture CLEARLY tells us how to respond to them: LOVE. Not condoning or endorsing any kind of behavior. But loving those we don't agree with and even those who offend us.

Don’t let people make you feel guilty for being offended when your God is being mocked. Righteous anger is a Biblical principle.

@shane_pruitt78 Not sure I agree with your position. I think there is a way for us a believers to live above the fray if you will. Our culture is corrupt, broken, and full of evil. Why are we surprised (or offended) by this?
