Earlier today, in my office, I hosted delegates from the Imo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ISPHCDA), @isphcda the World Health Organization (WHO), @WHONigeria, UNICEF, @UNICEF_Nigeria and Nestlé Nigeria PLC, @Nestle to discuss their activities in the State.

Today, I officially assumed office as the Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State.
This isn’t just a title—it’s a reflection of my years of advocacy and impact. From championing education for children to driving initiatives that uplift communities, my journey has been about creating sustainable change and this appointment is a call to do more!
My Mandate:
As Special Adviser on SDGs, my responsibility is to:
- Develop and implement strategies that accelerate Edo State’s progress toward the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
- Drive initiatives focused on quality education, healthcare, gender equality, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment and renewable energy.
- Secure funding and partnerships to bridge developmental gaps and create sustainable opportunities for our people.
- Work closely with ministries, agencies, and development partners to ensure that every sector integrates SDG principles into its policies and programs.
- Advocate for and execute projects that uplift the most vulnerable—because true development must leave no one behind.
I am deeply grateful to @m_akpakomiza, for entrusting me with this vital responsibility.
We are open to partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic alliances that align with the SDGs. We also welcome your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to drive sustainable solutions and uplift communities in Edo State.
