Governor Brian P. Kemp decided not to fund $2.5 million that was appropriated to end veterans homelessness.

The reason: he misjudged his revenue estimate in January & during the appropriations process--which just ended last month. Among other things, he cut $2.5 million to end veterans homelessness, $9.4 million to address domestic violence, & $3.3 million for sexual assault victims.
