Great feedback from Ellie about her experience at GCU on our MSc (pre-reg) programme 🥰
GCU Student Life@GCU_StudentLife

"Physiotherapy is something you can obviously do anywhere around the world, but the fact it’s industry accredited means it will be recognised wherever you end up. It gives you much more opportunities.” Our #EmployabilityAtGCU campaign aims to highlight the ways the University can help students with accessing a graduate career 💙 MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) student Ellie Wilson spoke to us about the importance of her course being linked to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) 🦵 She said: "I did a Masters in Clinical Exercise Science degree before but when I graduated I didn’t actually feel like I’d gained a qualification that directly led me to a job, so it felt like a massive barrier. "The MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) being an industry accredited course is a massive confidence boost because you’re coming out knowing you’ll get a job afterwards." A lot of GCU's programmes are accredited and industry driven meaning that students are getting hands on experience that prepares them for the workplace 👏 Ellie, who is due to graduate this year, also explained more about why she's gained so much from her two years in Glasgow: "I’ve loved being at GCU, I think the course is run really well. The lecturers are just so engaged and really want to help you. I’ve studied at a few different universities and this is the first place where I’ve thought the staff actually seem to like their jobs. That’s definitely made a big difference to my time here – it’s just been a great experience.” 🌠
