Some Sundays stay with you. No agenda — just people meeting heart to heart over Kabir songs, chai, questions, sparks of ideas, laughter, and good food. Mumbai Chaupal 2026, our annual pilgrimage to the heart of the people, sparkled this year with an eclectic mix of 170+ individuals from different walks of life — corporate sustainability explorers, researchers, quiet doers from rural India, peers from the sector, homemakers and the elderly, and young women and men — all looking for hope, meaning, and a tribe. On a Sunday morning, for 3–4 hours, conversations flowed without an agenda. From near or far, early or late, first-timers to long-time friends — dialogues moved from understanding the work to asking, “How can I do more?” Junoon Awards 2025 were also announced on this special occasion. This year’s awardees are Roundglass Foundation, Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra, Realm of Nature-Based Actions, Civic Participation in Climate Action, and Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust. A heartfelt thank you to EarthON Foundation for recognising the awardees with a financial reward, and to The Logical Indian for amplifying their stories so they reach many more people.
