Let me explain my side of it. 73 years old. I paid cash for my house 25 years ago. I just paid my property taxes was almost $6000 in my insurance was 2700. I’m tired of paying that when I supposedly own my home. None of my children went to the school district in my county. I’ve never used the fire department. I’ve never used the sheriffs department, so why am I paying $6000 a year for property taxes?
