Galva Jr/Sr High School Wildcats

Tonight's Dale Collis HS Track and Field Invitational has been canceled due to weather. A postponed date has not been set. No Track Meet in Galva tonight (4/15).

Great time at the 10th annual "Dinner with Dale" last night. In preparation for the Dale Collis Relays, we have dinner and do a Q and A with Coach Collis. Tonight's theme was trying something different and trusting the results. We are lucky to have this living legend in our town!

Orion softball game update. The game on April 14 at Orion is postponed to TBA.

Athletics 4/14/2026- Baseball has been canceled. Softball is traveling to Orion for a 4:30 PM start time.

Due to the rain, the softball game is canceled on 4/13/2026.

Congratulations to McKenna Anderson, Cyrus Hurd, Samantha Fox, and Ellory Glaser on being selected to represent Galva Jr/Sr High School as Illinois Principal Association's Great Leaders and Citizens! They were honored with area peers in Moline on Friday. Well deserved!

Great night of running, jumping and throwing in Wethersfield last night. The night was capped by our 4x4 team setting a PR in the cold and windy weather. Great job guys!

Happy Easter Weekend! There is no school on Monday. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 7th.

Due to the wild weather today, we will be canceling today's track meet and baseball & softball. We have had substantial rain over the last 12hours, with more rain to come. Plus there is a wind advisory starting at 1pm to 7pm.

Galva Athletics March 31: Due to the weather, the softball game with Spring Valley Hall has been cancelled.

Due to the potentially low temperature for Saturday morning March 28, the softball game with EP will moved from 11 AM to a 1 PM start time. GO CATS!

Excellent work on the Long Jump last night with 2 top 5 finishers. 4x1 Relay was cooking as well.

Friday, March 27th is an 11:30am Dismissal Day for all students. Our students and staff are on spring break next week. School resumes on Tuesday, April 7th.

Galva Athletics for March 26, 2026: Baseball will compete with St. Bede at the Galva Park District @ 4:30 PM.

Tomorrow is MLB Opening Day! Along with some important NCAA Tournament games coming up. Students are encouraged to show their support for their favorite teams and universities on Thursday and Friday.
