Just tried FSR Upscaling 4.1 in a few PC games. It’s based on the same neural network as the upgraded PSSR we released for PS5 Pro… and it looks stunning! Wonderful working with @jackhuynh and the @AMD team as we collaborate on AI graphics tech. Big win for Project Amethyst :-)

@danno_omen @Raven0178 I'm not using hyperbole, I'm asking how you feel about games that don't really roll credits at a "you're done playing!" time. Great example is many rogue-likes. Not even just about 100%, I played a few this past year where you don't even see the core game until after credits.

@GameWithTurik @Raven0178 I haven’t played it so I can’t speak on it, but you are using hyperbole since 99.9% of games “end” with the credits. If a game has a main campaign a reviewer should at least see that through

Crimson Desert now has 94 scored reviews on Metacritic. I’d be very curious to know how many of those 94 actually completed the game which should be a bare minimum requirement for press to score a game. My guess is not 94.

It's crazy seeing the hype build and finally deliver for @CrimsonDesert_ after following this game closely for years. I always said it was the best parts of Pearl Abyss' talents and Black Desert without the obstacles of their multiplayer faults. #StarCitizen to #Squadron42 next?

Different bases with the same trajectory. If you don't like one actor motion captured for 5 roles (out of thousands)...

"The AI model powering DLSS 5 is a single unified model. Same model for every game. It's not trained per-title, per-face, or per-object type." Why are Nvidia claiming developers have full control over the artistic intent of DLSS 5 output when it uses a unified model that isn't trained per game? Surely this would mean DLSS 5 output would converge to the same type of visuals across games, removing artistic intent/touch. Just as we see from current gen AI tools Giving developers true, full artistic control would surely mean having specific models for each game trained only on that studio's assets?

There was a time when I was interviewing for Nvidia and tried to constrain my criticism of them, and also thought about partnerships especially for studios I represent now and in the future... ... but today's Deep Learning Super Slop makes me cringe. Really disappointing stuff.

Even if they want to be unbiased, they can't be expected to after so much money regularly changes hands.

Digital Foundry's coverage of DLSS5 is absolute proof to me that they cannot be trusted going forward. This is not journalism. There is no push back or questioning despite it obviously being an Ai filter. It's just Nvidia talking points. This frankly reads like an undisclosed ad
