IF HE CAN DO IT, YOU CAN 🐦 A thread on how @DKashtalyan built The Beaks into a creative project that people naturally started paying attention to and participating in. A lot of projects begin with marketing or promotion. @thebeaksart did not. It started with a teenage boy in Minsk expressing himself through graffiti, slowly building a personal style that would take shape over many years. For over 20 years, Dima developed his work through detailed dots, patterns, pointillism and symbolic illustration. What began on walls gradually turned into a distinct visual language. People did not connect with it because it was pushed at them. They connected because it felt real. The idea behind The Beaks is simple. “Reimagining the beak in your own style.” That single idea became the foundation for everything that followed. It allowed different interpretations without losing the identity of the project. As more people discovered The Beaks, it stopped feeling like only an art collection. It became something people could actively respond to. They started creating their own versions, experimenting with styles, and expressing personal interpretations of the same concept. A major point in the project was the art contest around The Beaks. The entries were not repetitive or predictable. Different artists approached the idea in completely different ways, but the connection to the original concept was still clear in each one. Another reason the project continued to grow was simple participation. It was not only Dima creating work for people to observe. People began adding their own interpretations, responses and visual ideas into the space the project created. That exchange kept it active. The attention around The Beaks did not come from forced promotion or trends It came from people sharing it because they genuinely liked it and wanted to be part of what it represented. That kind of attention tends to last longer because it is not manufactured. From a teenager painting graffiti in Minsk to building a project that reached thousands of people creatively, Dima’s work shows how far a clear idea can go when it is developed consistently over time. The Beaks works because it gives people space to interpret, create and connect in their own way.

The coolest part is each NFT is birthed with a digital pet—and there different species of pet traits ranging from common, rare and extremely rare with each trait having a unique look. >> A point system was also introduced — this system only works when there’s a daily log in into the pet portal in other to feed these pets and claim daily point. The daily point ranges from 25-500 depending on how your pet is feeling at the moment. >> There’s also a total number of eight 1/1s in this collection, with 3 of them created by the artist and the other 5 carefully selected from the art contest. This shows that they prioritize the community’s effort. >> lastly, Shellmates will be minting on @opensea.
