Mr. Fink’s class stepped outside in their writing today to focus on Transcendentalism. This activity pushed students to think about life as a tree, cloud, bird or ant & write in the first person using their senses. Excellent idea! @CSUSAhq @drdchristiansen @rwindlerfreitag

The Gateway Griffins defeated the Moore Haven Terriers 14-4 last night. Jr Josue Pascual threw a complete game giving up 4 runs striking out 14. The Griffin bats racked up 11 hits including an inside the park home run by sophomore Brandon Lackwood. Nxt game is 4/2 night @ Estero

Gateway Griffins defeated Village School of Naples 17-2 on Thursday. The Griffins offense was led by Seniors Julian Arbolaez and Gio Mariani. Mariani went 2-3 w/ 3 stolen bases & Arbolaez went 3-4 & drove in 7 runs w/ a Grand Slam in the 3rd inning.

Gateway Charter Griffins beat the Dunbar Tigers Monday night 14-0. Aidyn Jones led the way pitching a complete game shutout and Alex Constantinopoli drove in four runs for the Griffins. Their next game is Thursday at 4pm versus Mason Classical. @CSUSAhq @rwindlerfreitag

Gateway Charter Griffins defeated Cape Coral Seahawks Friday night by a score of 15-1. Brandon Lackwood pitched a complete game, giving up only 1 run and striking out 9. The Griffins offense was lead by Lackwood, Aidyn Jones, & Julian Arbolaez who combined for 6 hits & 6 RBIs
